Heating capacity and performance

It is a very nice heater, it will generate instant heat and make you warm. You can keep the heater little closer to the bed as well. Best for small room and moderate performance for medium room. Do not buy it for a large room. It will fail to heat the large room. You will be disappointed. It takes very little time to heat and it is little noise.

Safety

It is safe to touch. The surface won't be heated. So no harm in touching. In that sense it is child safe. As the hot air comes out of the heater if you put anything blocking the outlet of the heater it will cause a fire and heater will burn itself. You should not put Nylon clothes closer to the heater as it is easy to catch the fire. Better do not to put anything on the table where the heater is present. But I say it is not particular con with this product as this problem will be there with all the ceramic heaters. It is up to you how carefully you use.

Electricity consumption

This is the biggest con of the product. I have used this product for 8 - 10 hours a day in winter for a month. I live in Hyderabad. My monthly electricity bill additionally due to this heater is around 3,000 Rs - 4,000 Rs. So be aware on this part. The main reason is it consumes 2,000 Watt power. Unfortunately, there is no mode to switch to 1000 Watt. Within Fan based/blower models you can get good products, but they come under 4 - 5k. Another alternative to reduce monthly electricity bill is to go for Oil based heaters, but they come under Rs 8,000 to 12,000.

Installation

It is easy to install, light weight, portable. But the wire length is short only 1.5 meter and heater plug is bigger one - 15A. So you need to have large sockets to fit 15A size plug.

Oxygen and humidity levels

As hot air is passed through the coil, it will burn oxygen and reduce humidity. While using for total night the heater keeps a bucket of water in the corner, open the small part of a door, keep the heater mode to low. This is NOT a good option if you are buying for a new born baby. If you have new born baby go for "Oil filled room heater" like -- "Bajaj Majesty RH 11F 2900W Room Heater".

Verdict

If you are looking for a good heater for small room, instant heat, under 1,000 Rs this is the best option. Considering its safety and electricity consumption I will give 4 stars.
